Basic Handlers Workshop at Wildrose Kennels

Handler Workshop (Basic and Advanced)
A highly intensive, individualized course of instruction held on site at the Wildrose Training facility in Oxford, Mississippi. Courses are two or four days in duration. Active participation with a dog is required. A Wildrose dog will be provided if the participant does not have a personal dog available. Courses cover all basic strategies, methods and philosophies of positive reinforcement retriever training. Courses are held four times each year.

Workshops or club presentations may be arranged at sites across the country. We offer short courses, seminars and demonstrations providing instruction on a variety of hunting/retriever training topics for upland game and waterfowl utilizing unique, gentle training methods.
Individualized Instruction
Individualized handling instruction may be arranged to fit a client's particular needs and schedule. The personal facilitation focuses on improving handling skills, honing training techniques in order to train your own retriever or companion. Classes are held weekly.

Client Instruction
Clients with dogs in training at Wildrose may participate in individual handling instruction on site on most Sunday afternoons or by appointment at no cost.
